How an aquifer is selected
Geological conditions, required yield and water quality are considered. In Latvia, water-bearing rocks may include sand, gravel, dolomite, sandstone and, in some regions, limestone.
What happens after drilling
After installation, the well is pumped, static and dynamic water levels are measured and a recommended operating yield is defined.
